Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of this website and to any watch submitted to Hong Kong Hengdeli Watch Service Co., Limited (“we”, “us”) for inspection, repair or servicing.

By signing or confirming the intake document when handing in a watch, the client is deemed to have read and accepted these terms.

All quotations are based on inspection findings and are provided in writing, itemising labour and parts. The client may choose to proceed with only some items.

No work begins before your approval. If additional work proves necessary during the job, we contact the client with a quotation and obtain agreement first.

Quotations are generally valid for 14 days; we will notify you separately if parts pricing or exchange rates change.

The client confirms that they are entitled to submit the watch for repair and that its provenance is lawful.

The client must declare the watch's condition, provenance, any third-party modification or repair, and any other information that could affect the work. We are not liable for damage arising from information that was not disclosed.

Vintage watches, watches that have suffered impact or water ingress, and watches modified by third parties carry higher repair risk, and some pre-existing faults may not be fully correctable. Known risks are explained at quotation stage.

For discontinued models or parts, we make every reasonable effort to find a solution, but cannot guarantee that original parts will be obtainable.

In cases of force majeure — natural disasters, epidemics, transport disruption — service times may be extended, and we will notify you as soon as possible.

All work carries a warranty period covering workmanship faults, which we will rectify free of charge. The warranty length depends on the work carried out and is stated on the quotation and service record.

The warranty excludes: accidental impact, drops, unauthorised dismantling or third-party modification, water ingress, magnetisation, heat damage, and normal wear to items such as bracelets and gaskets.

To claim under warranty, the client must present the service record or provide details we can verify.

Payment is due before collection or before we despatch the watch. We accept cash, FPS and bank transfer; please ask about cards at intake.

Where work is complete but payment outstanding, we are entitled to retain the watch.

If we have notified the client that the watch is ready but it is not collected within a reasonable period, we will make further contact to arrange collection.

If the watch remains uncollected after repeated contact, we may deal with it in accordance with applicable law, including recovery of storage charges and outstanding amounts. Any such arrangement will be notified to the client in writing.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability in respect of any single watch is limited to the amount actually charged for that service.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, such as any change in a watch's collectible or resale value.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Hong Kong.
